not sure you want to print the whole WhatsApp messages or single chat messages. If single chat, you can directly export the chat and it will be exported as a zip file, in which the messages will be stored in txt format. You can utilize an online converter to convert the format or link to your printer to change the format.
For entire WhatsApp chat messages, you can also do the same, export the entire messages to your computer via a magfone utility. The exported messages will be saved in HTML format. You can print the HTML file as you like.2 -
I use wetransfer.com for large files and it is free.1

I have just tried the method Xyrics21 noted for a few from a thread of single chat messages. It was from the menu given on WhatsApp when the chat was being displayed I.e 'export'. Exported to my Google drive ( as a zip file ) unzipped and opened with any app that could handle a text file. You could then send that text file to your solicitor ( or better the zip file unadulterated for that matter) as a complete file print and annotate one for scanning ( or load it into a document editor such as word to add identifiable annotations highlight etc. )Not sure how much would be accepted as evidence by the Police or a court of law, if required but your Solicitor is best placed to advise on that aspect. He might be able to certify as a Notary.0

What about screenshotting a page of messages and then printing the photo? Loads of screenshots necessary, i guess, but you could just do the relevant bits then0
