The silver bubble insulating sheet you stick behind the radiator.
I thought this was a load of nonsense but since the masses say it works I went ahead & bought some.
Just wanting to know is it worthwhile at all in putting some behind rads on internal walls or is it an external walls only thing?
As I'll probably have left over once I get the external walled rads done. It's whether I use this on the internal wall ones or just give the rest to a family member.

I did internal walls as well and it's made a difference1 -
Personally I wouldn't on internal walls. I'm not sure how much heat it stops reaching the wall, but I'd look at the longer term over the day and night and times when the heating isn't on. The heat reaching the internal walls warms them and they store the energy and so the substance of the house warms up a little. That heat isn't lost it's still providing warmth to the house and will cool, by releasing the heat to the air in the house, more slowly than the radiators themselves.4
