Try checking https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see if there have been many breaches.
Alternatively use malwares bytes (identity protection-> discover your digital footprint)  to look at what may have been exposed.
Doesn't the BCC explanation cover it? As you are not at risk from merely opening an email, would there be any point in seeing if I have been pwned (even if I knew what that meant 🙂)?
    BCC is a likely candidate.
It is also good to take the opportunity to know what breaches you may have been part of so that you can take any necessary remedial action, maybe update some passwords, add 2FA etc. The malware bytes digital footprint scan can tell you what data may have been exposed.

    pwned:

The term "pwned" is a slang word originating from internet and gaming culture that means to be
     completely defeated or compromised

Strictly speaking 'owned' is the slang word, 'pwned' was a typo which became a legend. :)

"Have I been pawned"" = "Have I been hacked"

In modern day cyber security contexts, "pwned" specifically refers to:
Being the victim of a data breach
Having an account or system intentionally compromised by an attacker
Losing control of personal digital accounts or information

BCC doesn't actually exist outside of email composition, it's just an instruction to the mail client.. The addresses used for transporting an email are separate from the  header fields inside the email.
