Another breakdown recovery post

I have a brand new Mazda and it comes with 3 years' breakdown recovery.

However, I am also with Britannia Rescue and have their comprehensive level of UK cover and know how good and reliable they are when you call for help.

Their cover looks better than the Mazda one provided with my new car.

Would I be best to keep the Britannia Rescue cover running for the 3 year period instead of rely on what appears to be a similar, but not as comprehensive Mazda Breakdown cover?

It depends if its still worth it financially to you, to keep effectively 2 breakdown policies running with such a big overlap of cover. I don't know what level of Britannia Rescue cover you have and what the extra bit is, or your personal circumstances.

It's entirely up to you. My Volvo comes with their breakdown cover which is quite limited, but as I've never actually needed roadside assistance I'll stick with that and take the risk..

I doubt it, what specifically is better with the Britannia policy. How likely is the Mazda to breakdown (I would suggest not) and what would the cost of say an overnight stay be if you needed to sort something while away?

How much is it, and is that amount of money worth it for the extra cover you are getting.
