Amex application - very impressed

Just wanted to say how impressed I was with Amex application, recently changed they now let you know if your approved before it was a %chance.

Applied Friday morning, got the card Saturday.

fastest card I have ever applied for and received.

excellent limit as well.

so far app is good and it’s the cashback one so 5%

Amex's platform is pretty top notch, it has to be said. My main niggles with them are their insistence on taking DDs a fair while before the payment is actually due, and also the (minor) obstacles they put in the way of debit card payments.

This is my first ever credit card. I applied on Wednesday and the card arrived on Friday!

I only discovered my credit limit of £10K when I received the card, which is very ample and I'm pleased with.

App is easy to navigate, the 5% cashback is great, and the card is already in my digital wallet and being used.

Echo the experience of applying for the Amex Nectar card, delivered day after application. Ditto a second user card.

All the major supermarkets take Amex, only recent knock-back was Home Bargains.
