Advice re debts please

Hi a health professional has filled in the front page of the debt and mental health evidence form.  I need to send it to six different companies.  Can I photo copy it and send the photo copies to the companies and I keep the original.

This is tedious, but could you ask them to complete the second page too? The extra information there tells a creditor how your mental heath issues affects your ability to manage your money, whether your condition is likely to go on for a long while, whether getting the debt written off would remove mental pressure and assist your recovery etc

I could ask them,  Ive just been transferred to a different mental health team who can give more support and that was the first time I met my new care coordinator

I’ve sent letters and copies of the forms to all creditors yesterday by post.  I also emailed two as they keep emailing me.  One has responded to my email.  They want me to give consent that I will communicate with them by email about the letter I sent.  Do I stick to them send letters by post or say that I will communicate by email?

It's up to you really - some folk prefer to keep things just to postal communications as they find the stress of having stuff in email form too a bit much - it can feel quite invasive. With post, the advantage is that you know it will just be once a day that something might arrive - and once the post has arrived with no letters you can relax a bit, if that makes sense.

Just bear in mind that if you opt for email, there will still be odd things that they must legally send you by post, as well.
