Switchboard not working

So there is a phone number I regularly need to ring for work reasons. Before all was fine with it, but now the 'Press 1 for this 2 for that etc. is simply not working. All household people in my house use Lebara and various Android phones .I also use VoIP system for calls and the issue is on there as well.
However when I asked my friend to ring from his iPhone and another operator all worked. I am not having such issues with any other phone numbers.
Anyone has any idea what could be the reason for this?

I had a similar problem once when using numbers that were programmed. Discovered by accident that if I manually dialed the number it went through. Never explained it, and the problem went away after some time.
