I've seen it mentioned before but this has reminded me.
Could your drip feed (drip buy) into this fund Via HSBC s&s isa then transfer at end of each tax year to iWeb? Or will HSBC get the hump with you transferring and closing the account each year?

Thanks for the Dodl suggestion, it had fallen off my radar.
But now that Vanguard is a less attractive option, Dodl fits the bill for adding small regular amounts during the year (no trading charges I think?) and then transferring out after a couple of years.

Yeah no trading charges on Dodl. Assuming this fund is also on HSBC's own platform then it's a bit of penny pinching maths to determine for your contribution amount it's cheaper to pay HSBC 0.25% or Dodl' 0.15% with £1 min for the term of holding the account before doing the ninja move to iWeb. It might be worth double checking those platforms allow asset transfers out to avoid needing to sell down to cash with time out the market. I can't comment if they will get the hump, maybe.

Dodl's website states that they allow in specie transfers out. Any other platform that I currently use all allow in specie transfers so that should all be ok. I don't intend to do transfers out regularly. I think Dodl will fill a gap for me in being allowed to buy small amounts of funds/ETFs without trading costs similar to Vanguard.

I can confirm asset transfer of my favoured tracker fund out from HSBC S&S ISA took about three weeks but was absolutely fine. I had to get Lloyds (so same process for iWeb) to tweak the average unit cost after but other than that very straightforward.

    Dodl query

I can't seem to find the full list of what stocks are available on Dodl without opening an account. Does anyone know if VEVE or HMWO are on their list?

Not sure about those ETFs as I don't have an account, but if you're looking for something global then I know HSBC FTSE All-World (mentioned in your 1st post) is available on Dodl as 'On Top of the World', as my partner has it in their SIPP.

Thanks. Ideally I would like to have an ETF version as it makes it more flexible for transferring out to platforms like HL/Fidelity.
