Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Assume internal as you state dry wall - You should use a flexible filler like decorators caulk, but do check the max width for this, the tube tip can be cut to different sizes. You may wish to add some insulation material (like loft insulation) in the gap first. Polyfilla may crack if any movement.

had a quote from roofer
his replyGreat photos are perfect yes it's a drainage issue with the frame not the Guttering above as that's above the window and you have a bay overhangSo for the team to attend and resolve the drainage issue so the water flows out easily and not get into the property will be total £238.Once completed the water marks will dry out over the coming weeks. If left the water will damage the brickis it sealant or drainage issue

Right so you have a water penetration issue, not just a simple gap under window. Looks like you have a condensation problem/ blown glazing as well judging by the amount of water on windows and mold on net curtains. No idea about your water penetration issue but you might want to consider how you use heat/ ventilate/ live in that property because there is too much moisture in this room. You may need a window person rather than a roofer here.
