Hello everyone,
I have been reading through the newbies section and trying to understand the cases so I can prepare my appeal, but I am struggling to understand a lot of the terminology. I would be really grateful if someone could help as I don't want to mess it up.
I received a notice to keeper through the post (10th Jan), it's addressed to my name but also says the company secretary which is strange. The letter is dated the 6th of Jan and alleged contravention on the 1st of Jan (Happy New Year!). Family member was driving two daughters to McDonalds after dropping me off at the airport. One of daughters is a blue badge holder if this is of any interest. Letter shows four very dark images of the car entering at 7.29am and leaving 7.49am. No photos of the signage. I have done a search and it seems this a scam site.
From my researching should I first reach out to McDonald's/starbucks? and then second appeal to MET - stating I do not accept liability and will not name the driver? Any help hugely appreciated.
