Thank you all... I need 2 years more credits to qualify for a full pension. I retired on ill health as not able to do the job i did. I am able to work but not earn more than LEL which is right for my health. I do not qualify for any benefits but i do pay tax on my earnings. So I do exist as a taxpayer in the system but clearly not to get national insurance credits so it looks like i will have to purchase the misding years. Thank you again.0

Do you not qualify for contribution based ESA? Even if you don’t qualify for the payments you can get NI contributions towards your state pension.2

Thank you.. Thats exactly what ive done 👍 o knew i didnt qualufy before i even applied (no NI Contributions for previous 2 years!) what i shouldve done is apply when i stopped working!) i will get NI contributions going forward.0
