DFS sofas too firm & uncomfortable.

We have issues with our DFS recliner sofas which were delivered last week & are extremely firm compared to the showroom examples that we made our decision to purchase with. We have filed a complaint as the showroom sofas compress twice as much as our new ones, & my wife can't sit on them as it causes her back & neck pain so she is now using our old sofa until we can sort out a solution. We love the looks, but it's extremely firm & uncomfortable to sit on & seems to be because of a difference in foam density.
I know over time & use they will soften but I can't see the characteristics of springs & foam altering quick enough to be as soft as we need in the near future.
Anyone else been in this situation & had a positive outcome

No but I have posted on that thread as our situations are similar but a year apart0

Successful update, After a few weeks of getting nowhere & seeing others in our situation on social media saying they're time wasters I decided to exercise my consumer rights as ours wasn't fit for purpose as faulty, & didn't match the display.
They only agreed to collect it & give a full refund including court fee after I applied to the court.2
