Comparison site says I am 40% higher than neighbours for electricity usage

I've had a smart meter for eight years and using the Bright app I can look back at half hourly readings to November 2021, so, as all that data is available to both me and my energy company, it should be really easy to estimate my consumption.

I can do it in about 2minutes on the back of a fag packet and I can tell you what I should use every month.

However for some reason all the energy companies that I've been with have put a wet finger in the air and come up with guesses that are so far out that they are comedic - I don't think any of them have been within +/- 25% of reality sometimes even worse

So as @Chrysalis above suggests - do it your self based on what you use and the tariff you choose
