Is there a law against upselling at vulnerable moments? E.g. in a dentist chair!

I really don’t mind the dentist giving me options when I’m in the chair.I had this with fillings - did I want standard NHS fillings or pay more for white fillings?I had no concern about saying no.Grey amalgam was good enough for me.
I would not expect this discussion at the appointment making stage as that is not with the dentist, but the receptionist. When the dentist herself gives me options I can ask questions other than simply the financial implications.0 -
Did you enter into a binding contract while still in the chair, or could you have changed your mind e.g. the next day? Was there actually any pressure to accept there and then?0
