Parking Charge - MFG Southall - ECP

Hi All,
Received a parking charge notice from Euro Car Parks Ltd. This was based at MFG Southall, which has an esso station and also has a service station containing shop and burger king.
Went in bought petrol and sat down at burger king for lunch. In and out in 40 minutes, 10 minutes over the allowance.
Can't remember seeing any signs. I will revisit, but I am flabbergasted that to have fueling facilities (inc EV charging), costa, BK, car wash and you have to be in and out in 30 minutes. Seems very unfair.
Usually, when I am bang to rights, I just pay it, but I really do feel I am being scammed here.
Notice to Keeper looks very compliant when searching for the requirements online.
What should one do?

Plan A in the newbies sticky thread, complain about the PCN to the business ASAP
I would expect there to be a tablet or ipad inside where you input the VRM to authorise the stay
Please study that newbies sticky thread in announcements1 -
You should never be paying private parking tickets
Why would you.1 -
I agree, nobody should ever pay one, all the time that they keep swerving Government regulation and ripping people off for £100.
We totally understand why you feel like you are being scammed. DO NOT PAY. Read & learn.
Apart from trying Plan A (which should work, if you push the retailer on Social Media too) my best advice is if Plan A fails, IGNORE ECP AND THEIR AGENTS.Ignore the parking firm.Only steps to take:
- Exhaust plan A and contact your MP to help you escalate the complaint. If that fails:
- Tell them if you move house within 6 years.
- Ignore the tedious £170 threatograms shown in pictures in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.
- Come back if you get a LBC as per the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread. Probably from DCB Legal. Search the forum and read a few cases as they are a cinch to beat by waiting for a claim form - it is easier than appealing!
There is no risk AT ALL in defending a court claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

And please sign this petition demanding the re-launch of a Govt-backed Parking Code of Practice. 🙏We need to add our voices to the group of MPs, Parking Steering Group (Coupon-mad sits on) in calling for statutory regulation for the private parking industry. The present voluntary measures are failing to protect us.1
