PRIZE DETAILS:
Win a night in jail
Ever wondered what it'd be like to spend a night behind bars?
We're giving you and a cellmate the chance to stay at the five-star Bodmin Jail hotel in Cornwall, as well as tickets to the Bodmin Jail Attraction.
This Grade II-listed building features 70 rooms, each comprising of three former cells, in a beautiful contemporary design that retains many original features.
You'll be spared prison gruel, with a slap-up breakfast and dinner at the hotel's delightful Courtyard Bistro.
Within the walls is the Bodmin Jail Attraction, where theatrical effects and state-of-the-art augmented reality technology will transport you through the gloomy, and sometimes gruesome, story of the prison, including tales of infamous prisoners who paid the ultimate price on the end of the hangman's rope. You'll also experience life in old Bodmin, with cinematic visuals of mining, smuggling and the hardships faced by the poorest Cornish folk.
The prize includes an overnight stay at the hotel for two people sharing a twin/double room and includes breakfast and a £50 dinner credit per person towards food and drink. Also included are tickets to the Bodmin Jail Attraction. It can be taken any time until the end of November 2025, excluding Easter and bank holidays, and is subject to availability. It also includes £100 spending money.
