in Credit cards
Hi forum.
I have 2 cards, both 0% (one ending in October and one in Dec). Is it worth getting a 0% transfer card for 31 months or even 20 months for the one due to expire soonest or wait until nearer October just before the interest kicks in? Thanks in advance.

All things being equal it makes sense to keep the existing cards, make the most of the available 0% deal. There's little to be gained by "wasting", as it were, 9 or 10 months of free credit.Of course, there's no guarantee that you'd be accepted for another 0% card, whether you apply now or in October. So you do need to bear that in mind and make sure you'll be able to clear the card come October, just in case.1

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
