    ask the neighbours first/ they might be an old couple /as it looks like a bungalow next door and they most probably cannot maintain there own garden.

    that is definatley not a hedge .

     if you offer to cut down the whole lot and take it away so just garden fence is left that would be good for both of you

    ask permision can you climb over the fence to work in there garden.

    i have done this on many properties.and never had a single person object /all glad to get rid of the weeds and bramble /most much worse than the photos.

    easy to strip back to near floor level / then use a mattock to take out all the roots / then 30 bottles of vinegar from lidl for £10 if you do not like weedkiller / look to get some half ton bags / and then off to the dump /
