It may sound a bit of a daft question but how do they work, I'm talking about the relationship between the bank and the company they are promoting?  The reason I asked is Halifax were offering me a 2% cashback if I used Click Mechanic so I activated this offer as I had been pricing up some work on my car, in total I spent £510 however whilst the invoice I got was from Click Mechanic, the payment went through my account in the name of the mechanic who did the work, thus no cashback is showing as due, I have complained to Halifax and they are looking in to it but have confirmed that this was the reason no cashback was showing. I was wondering if this was a dodge used by companies to get out of paying the cashback especially where the company is offering a service and giving the actual work to a third party?
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world
