Saving for children

I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping people may be able to help with-
1. I have a child trust fund for my oldest child. Is this the best route for saving to have something to give her? I've paid a little in each month for years.
2. I haven't set anything up for my youngest, what is the best route to do this ie child trust fund, JISA etc?
Thanks

JISAs effectively superseded child trust funds many years ago, so worth considering converting the CTF into a JISA for a wider choice of better products.
A JISA may be the best option for the other child, but there are numerous options highlighted at https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/child-savings-tax-free/1
