Furniture set part delivered, faulty and now discontinued

I purchased two sets of the same bedroom furniture (bedside table, chest of draws, wardrobes) from Fabb Furniture. Online purchase on my credit card main points:
They were purchased end of September 2024 with a stated delivery time of 2-3 weeks. £4k in total.
The wardrobes were to be part built (the base) and part flat pack, the remaining items were to come built.
All but one of the chest of draws were delivered end of November 2024. It was agreed that the remaining chest of draws would come in February 2025 as it was a slightly different make up.
We added a note to the delivery that two of the boxes were damaged.
I then followed up a few days later with photos and a video of the damage. Both wardrobe bases were damaged such they the draws would not open. I advised in writing that if they could not replace the wardrobes that all of the items (inc the bedside tables and draws) should be returned for a full refund as it is a set.
We tried to construct the wardrobes to make sure we had all the other bits, there were manufacturing errors and pieces missing such that they were not capable of construction. I emailed Fabb with all these details.
Fabb advised 13/12 that they would send two wholly new wardrobes and would correct the manu errors.
Then following my chasing, they phoned on 3/1/25 and advised that they had discontinued the range and could not replace the wardrobes (I am not sure on the chest of draws due Feb 2025 – I assume they can’t meet that part of the order now either).
They offered me £300 off the wardrobes to keep them or a return of everything for a credit note.
The wardrobes are not capable of construction. A credit note would be pointless as they appear to have stopped doing all bedroom furniture so even if I wanted to (which I don’t) I could not replace the items in their shop.
I just want them to collect it all and refund me to then buy elsewhere.
They are ‘considering’ my request.
I am concerned that they may only refund the wardrobes leaving me with mismatching furniture despite the order being for two matching sets.

Seems pretty clear to me that you're entitled to a full refund in the form which you paid.
P.S. Are these "Chester draws", or normal drawers?1 -
They were sold as sets of furniture. Since each set is faulty they should collect and refund each set.
It might have been different if one set was perfect. The perfect set might have been seen as a change of mind. Similarly if the chests of drawers had been a separate order.
But they weren't.
You bought, and are entitled to, two complete and perfect sets or your money back.0 -
Hello OP
Where some of the goods do not conform (have an issue) you may either reject just those that have the issue or everything under the contract.
If you order AB&C and A has an issue you may eject A, reject AB&C but you may not reject A & B and keep C.
A big company should accept their obligations, if not escalate it upwards within Fabb. If you paid on any kind of credit you may have additional S75 cover.

Thanks all for your help. Sorry my message was not clear. They are individual pieces that were bought from the same range so not sold as a 'package' or 'set'. Fabb have since confirmed that they will collect all items and give me a full refund which is reassuring, but disappointing that was not on the table from the outset!2

Good to hear OP.
Just to clarify it’s the goods under the contract, so for my above post to apply items don’t have to be part of a set or such, just placed under a single order. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
