Selling higher end white goods - advice needed!

Hello all, and a Happy New Year!

I recently won a Fridge Freezer, that retails for over £2,200. Due to its size and inconvenience, I was thinking of selling through Rehome, but I don't know if anyone had any experience with them, or what percentage of the sale they take. (The fridge Freezer is still in the box and brand new).

If anyone knows of a site or group that buys such items, please drop them below!

Many Thanks in advance.

Personally would just stick it on eBay as collection only but that always depends a little on where you live on how many potential customers that give you

Personally in the first instance, do you have a local community group on something such as facebook, in your area? Have you thought of offering it there? or perhaps a local ad in your paper if your capture area is good. Alternatively Gum tree may be another possibility

Ebay too but as it would  be a collection only item not sure how much reach you would get say compared to some of the forementioned? Like DullGrey Guy mentions it will in part down to where you live too.

i sold three 20 foot gazebos /a 30 piece steel market frame /push bike / my van /
all sold in a week no problem with all buyers collecting .
2 off them came over 60 miles to collect.
i have 20k plus sales on ebay but for large items facebook is brilliant and a brand new fridge freezer will be an easy seller.

A word of warning about fridges. Check the paperwork as a lot of them can only be transported upright, the refrigerator system fails if they are carried off the vertical. This could make collection difficult if this is a large piece of equipment as you might need to remind buyers that a taller van is required, otherwise you may be faced with complaints that item doesn’t work when they get it home.

One  thought I had was to try local traders, see if anyone will take it for resale themselves as they will have a suitable van to collect.
