barclys debt paid back to a recovery agency

Any help would be appreciated !
about a year ago i succesfully repaid back a debt of just over £2,000 to a collection agency who were acting on behalf of Barclays. Am I in a position to make a claim against Barclays for a refund of any of the relevant charges added to this account ( which incidentally I do not use any more ) and I think Im right in saying that if so I make the cliam against the bank and to the collection agency ?
Just wondered if anyone else has successfully completed a similar type of claim ?
