Multiple payments into building society.

Hello.
This is my situation. I've been putting money into a building society since October 2024, and then in November, l set up a standing order. This has resulted in Dec/Jan receiving multiple deposits with the extra being returned and a message online, plus a letter telling me not to do this.
The issue is when my app had a makeover there was a standing order buttons but it seems to have disappeared.
This is the Lloyds app and the missing button was in the Easy saver section account. I was directly funding from it.
What l don't understand is the returned S.O. goes to to my Classic account even thought l don't fund from it.
I hope this makes sense.

When you set up the building society account, did you set up a "linked account" for withdrawals? If you did, then any over-payments would be redirected to that account. (The building society may not know the full details of the account from which payments were made.)Bob2000 said:Hello.
