Cheers,
I didn't as someone said that the calls are recorded
She did say the claimants would settle with an offer of around £50 below the claimed amount of around £300 but I declined, no offer counter submitted or discussed.
Was a very swift and professional service tbh and think she anticipated this outcome2 -
Now have a court date next month, after multiple attempts by dbs to contact me 😁0

How are you getting on with your WS? What's your deadline on that Hearing Order? Or is it just a 30 minute Dispute Resolution hearing?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I just received it so getting my head around what I need to do. As far as I know I need a witness statement? Which is different from my defence?
The hearing date is mid May. I don't know if it's a dispute resolution or hearing order, I assume latter.
The claimant has til 3 weeks to pay court trial fee or file a completed application before it's struck out.
So I assume it's a hearing and DBS will pay and file, and that I need to write a witness statement.
The crux of it is, I was working self employed at a particular location, parking where I had always done with verbal agreement passed onto to by permanent staff members that the car park could be used as I had in the past, and then the rules changed that staff members had to log registrations, and this was not communicated to me, the change. It was all 4-5 years ago
