Final Reminder from UKPC

Hi, my first post here!
I have received a parking charge letter last month, which I appealed right away and I have received an appeal confirmation email.
Two weeks later, I have received a Final Reminder and the fine increased to £100 and have not received my appeal decision.
I tried to contact them by phone but it is just an automated recording for payment.
Do they have a telephone number that I can speak to a live person? I can only find one email address, which is for complaints.
Shall I just pay up? Thank you for the advice.

It is not a fine.
Never, ever ring an unregulated private parking company, ever.
Plan A is always a complaint from the keeper to the landowner and the keeper's MP. Where did the alleged event occur? It may have cropped up here before.
Complain in writing to UKPC. If that fails to get a cancellation or PoPLA code, then complain to the BPA.
In your complaint to your MP, ask when the mandatory government code of practice (CoP) is going to be introduced.
Also ask the MP to contact the eleven or so MPs who lobbying the government anbout getting the new CoP introduced. Information can be found in this post.

Do make the complaints. Getting MPs to act is the only way this unregulated industry that affects 12 million motorists a year will ever be brought under control.
Nobody on this forum would ever advise you to pay, especially since UKPC signs are always inadequate and incapable of forming a contract with a motorist.

Complain to them that they have not responded to your appeal. Tell them that unless they deal with it satisfactorily (leave that open-ended, let them work out what they think 'satisfactorily' means - you might get a cancellation, although that's far from guaranteed), you will be making a formal complaint to the BPA.The BPA won't entertain a complaint, unless you have already complained to the parking firm.Nobody should be paying any PPC's PCN.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

A reminder after 2 weeks is normal. Wait for your appeal rejection.
How is Plan A coming along? You know, the first thing everyone is advised to do in the NEWBIES thread in every case?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
