Moorside Legal - Letter of claim

Hello Community,
Happy New Year!
Just returned from my Christmas Holiday when I saw another envelope from Moorside Legal. I have ignored all their letters until now but they have issued a Letter of Claim for an older rip-off UKPS PCN. I am after some advice on how to proceed now as I have some special circumstances.
In all mailing and communications received from Moorside my surname has been misspelled, one letter has been replaced by another giving a different surname and different tonality. I am not sure if this can be used in my advantage somehow when I will try to defence myself in court. My question is, under these circumstance shall I still proceed as per the second post in the Newbie thread , and I shall let Moorside know about this mistake and deny any liability?
Thank you in advance.
Regards.

Use the usual LBC reply, and where at the start you confirm your address also confirm the correct spelling of your name. It has no advantage to you to be wrong so you may as well correct it.
However, they'll have got that address from your V5C. Check your logbook now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for the advice. The PCN is three years old and I sold the vehicle since, but I doubt it was wrong on the V5. I have submitted an email reply as per the tread. Waiting for the response now. I will use this thread to seek any additional guidance if they decide to proceed in court.2

Hello Everyone!
I'll continue to document my case. After sending the usual LBC reply email as Response to Letter of Claim back in January I have now received an email reply from Moorside Legal with the following request:"Thank you for your email. To enable us to process your email, we need to confirm that we are corresponding with the correct individual. To pass our security checks, we ask that you confirm the following:- Address and post code
- Vehicle registration
Please reply to this email to continue the email thread."
What shall I do next? Reply straight away with the details, delay the response or ignore?
Thank you in advance.1 -

If you don't, they'll possibly revert to your old address and you'll get a CCJ if you aren't careful.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello! Had a reply from Moorside Legal a few days ago with the following content:We write further to your recent email.By entering and parking the vehicle on our client's private land, you agreed to enter into a contract with our client and to be bound by the terms and conditions of that contract. The terms and conditions were clearly displayed at the entrance and in prominent places within the car park. Due to your failure to comply with the terms and conditions, our client has issued the PCN therefore if we are instructed to issue a claim the reason would be for Unpaid parking charges/ breach of contract. We have noted on your account you are seeking debt advice and have placed the matter on hold for 30-days. If you fail to make payment after the 30-day period has lapsed, we may be instructed to issue a County Court Claim against you.
What shall I do next? Just wait to see if they issue a County Court Claim ?0 -
Of course. Read other threads while you wait.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
