Virgin Money - No Communication

Has anyone had issues getting any form of communication from Virgin Money?

I used to have a B account with Clydesdale before it was converted to a Virgin current account when Virgin was acquired. I wasn't informed that this new account has a £4 fee for rejecting direct debits.

Fast forward, I have a mortgage application rejected for being in debt to Virgin. Turns out a direct debit was attempted and said £4 fee charged sending it into the negative. They claim to have sent several letters - I have not received any. No other comms channel attempt made.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with not getting letters from Virgin?
