Update on this one. I heard nothing for 8 months after my appeal then received a demand for £135 from a debt recovery agency. I submitted a complaint to Smart Parking as they had ignored my appeal even though they stated they would respond in 28 days. PCN is now cancelled after my complaint so all good though it dragged on for nearly 9 months from the date of the PCN.

This happens a lot with Smart. Forgetting to respond to appeals. They need banning asap under the new statutory regime if they continue with this pattern.
