FastStone Image Viewer, Every now an then i get a blank picture come up

Hi Guys
Got a problem with FastStone Image Viewer, Every now an then i get a blank picture come up and when i double click on it i then get a picture with an X on it like the one i upload here
Has anyone got any ideas how i can get my picture's back?
Would be much appreciated because i don't know how to solve it.
