Time for my scores because nothing else will be finished.
13 OUT
13 IN
So I broke even. Included in the INS are 5 x Lacura moisturusers (similar to Weleda). I bought 9 skincare products (including these) which were all needed at the time. The remaining 4 were the 2 x Real Techniques sponge set, bath soak and nail polish remover.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

My final scores were:
16 INs (13 were Xmas/birthday girst, 3 were things I bought)
15 OUT (10 UU, 5 throw away)
So not bad considering it was my birthday this month, AND, AND, this is the best bit- I only spent <drumroll please> £11.44 on toiletries this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was looking back at my spreadsheet and in the entire time I have been keeping track (since 2022), I have NEVER spent that little money on toiletries/makeup etc!! It probably helped that I knew a few things were almost done and so I got them before Christmas, knowing I wouldn't want to shop over the festive season and/or run out of staples, but still. I'm very pleased with that!
I already know next month will be more spendy as I have a few items that'll likely run out that do need replacing, but looking to keep it under £50. I know that sounds a lot, but the amount of times I go over that is a lot.

That's amazing @Clutterbug07 on having a small purchase and I'm sure you can keep it under the £50 mark next month.
I have one more UU to report:
TBS Camomile Cleansing Butter: WBA, this isn't a HG but it's cheap, lasts a long time, does the job and doesn't irritate my skin, plus comes in recyclable packaging. Have replaced with a mini of the Clinique TTDO and used it last night for the first time and wasn't keen, seemed a bit more waxy than the TBS one 🤔
So that takes my OUTS to 16 this month and 0 INS's which I think may be the first month ever I've had nothing coming in. Have so many things that are almost done so will have to spend something next month I think as I don't have that big of a stash anymore when it comes to skincare especially.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -
I spent £46.42 on items for my personal use this month. This is the first time I have tallied up cost. I wont need to replace anything however as the serum similar to Wekeda has been released at ALDI again I am planning to pull mine out of my stash tonight and if its any good get some. I think ill also get the Flowerbomb dupe if I see it. XBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I too have a spreadsheet I use to track my stash, but I don't include the cost of purchase.Clutterbug07 said:My final scores were:

I might pinch this idea or I might get too scared!Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without1 -
@Hodgepodge hahaha yes, it can be a bit scary sometimes knowing exactly how much you've spent, and trust me- it's not always as nice as £11.44
- but I like knowing, and it does help me to rein it in sometimes. Like 'ooh, this was a spendy month, lets buy less/pick lower price items next month!'
Sounds like everyone had a good January- well done everyone!
