Shared Ownership Property and Divorce.

Hi. I live in a Shared Ownership property with a local housing association as my Landlord. My ex Husband used to live with me. However, he moved out early last year and was declared bankrupt earlier this year. I have reached an agreed amount with the Trustees to buy his part of the equity within the Shared Ownership property. However, there is barely any profit for them and they have asked me to confirm how the TR1 should be completed as they have no experience of Shared Ownership. They have accepted a lower offer from me on the condition that I resolve this through sourcing my own advice. I’m trying to avoid legal fees. I understand it will likely be a TR1 form and already have permission from the Housing Association to transfer the lease to only me. However, can anyone please advise on the correct form and how it should be completed in this case? Many thanks.

there are times to be cheap and there are times to pay for professional advice.
you re-negotiated a lower offer on the basis you would do their work for them, so you now have the money to pay for it.0 -

If the legal ownership is to be transferred then our online guidance explains how to do this from a registration perspective - Registering land or property with HM Land Registry: Change the registered owner name - GOV.UK“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Land Registry. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
any mortgage?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
