LinkedIn has never asked me to verify my ID tmv. I've just looked into it, and it's optional, not mandatory https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1359065

I've just checked, and I'm verified via workplace ID (because we use LI for training).

Very envious of the heatpump. I'm still chasing my plumber for dates for stuff that needs doing in the next couple of weeks and he's doing his usual thing of not bothering to respond... if I haven't heard from him by Wednesday I'll be asking the electricians for details of the heatpump guy they work with.

I flea'd and wormed my cats this morning, so they've moved into the flowerbed and are refusing to acknowledge my existence.

LI have suspended my account because of 'security concerns' - so I have to verify to gain access to it. It won't let me do the workplace option (no way to do so) and the only alternative is to get a notary to sign to say I am who I say I am.
I am looking forward to when they have completed the work already - I hate having workmen in and this is three at once, all over the house and with the back door open for hours (draining the systems) - and no heating for the rest of the week! And keeping an eye on what they're doing to make sure they're doing it right and in the right place etc. is just so stressful (never mind going to the loo without them wanting to be in there for work reasons!)
Cats have finally settled down and Mr MV is now in with them for the afternoon so I can go out. What a palaver!

I hate having trades in, even the ones I like as people! It's really intrusive, and you can't relax. Plus they make dust. And I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the plumber's inability to commit to any dates when so many other people are dependent on him doing his bit.

Carpet fitters are here - just had a notification on my phone that the front door is open, letting all my expensive heat out!

    Good luck with the Heatpump!
This brings back memories… octopus did ours at the end of Feb, we had 5 men from Monday to Thursday!
Roll on the end of the week when it’s all done and dusted and you have a nice cosy house just in time for winter 😊

Have you thought about doing an escape room in a box and a picnic. We did one those and really enjoyed. Cost less than £20 to buy the escape room.

All of the above!! (Insert shrieky blue emoji!)

Have just arrived in market town - can feel my equilibrium returning. Could do with a stiff drink, but friends I’m meeting are both teetotal so don’t think they’ll appreciate my need! 🤣

Oh please don’t let it be 4 days - I keep telling myself that this will be the worst day!

I’d missed this, so thanks for highlighting! Cats would invariably enjoy sitting on the paper, swatting stuff around - yes, I can see this working as entertainment and distraction for cats 🤣

It’s a possibility ladybird, but I’ve done two escape room boxes and found them rather disappointing - the first a while ago, and it didn’t give clear answers, the second on Friday and the puzzles were good but the endgame was poor. And in December I’d need to find somewhere - a cafe maybe? I’ll keep it in mind, but I’m not convinced. Glad you enjoyed them though - maybe it’s just the ones we’ve had!

Ooh, but related to that, do you have a local board game cafe? That might be an option?

@themadvix - I gave up on Prolific some time ago when they started their rude communication about reporting for tax purpose! What I get from them in a month is not even equivalent to an hours pay in the RL job, so I'm sticking to anything that pays in points redeemable for gift card reward and putting it towards the big river monthly deliveries or m&s or JL! It was always meant to be a bit of fun and when that stopped so did I!
