How long does the land registry record take to change after completion?

As titled. I guess this would vary but usually how long does it take for the change of title to be reflected in the land registry record?
Thanks.
Thanks.

How long is a piece of string, could be up to 6/12 months but so many variables0

I completed 28th June 2023 and received info from land registry Dec 2024
it was first registration as the property was previously not registered so not sure if this made a difference to time0 -
OP, it will probably help if you told us why you're asking.0

Thanks Singlemummy_2.
Hi user1977 and ChirpyChicken, I have recently completed and just want to know how long I'd expect to get the land registry done. I know that this varies, so I hope to get some random sample points to generate a rough idea.0 -
You do understand that it doesn't really matter how long the LR takes to process the application? You are the owner from the completion date.
The random sample points won't mean much without knowing what type of application was involved in each, but if it's a straightforward change of ownership in an already-registered property then it is pretty swift. If it involves a first registration or a transfer of part, it can take much longer.
And the first stage is your solicitor submitting the application to the LR, the LR don't instantly know that completion has taken place.0 -
That is true. I guess our case is a straightforward change of ownership. I am just unsure how long it would take my solicitor (who has the habit of being slow) to apply to the LR, and how long does it take for the LR to process applications nowadays.
Is there any other document showing ownership?0 -

Do you have a mortgage? You wouldn't if you weren't the owner.
In reality, owners don't generally get asked to prove they're the owner - at least not on any sort of regular enough basis to warrant worrying about it.0 -

Thanks a lot for this information.
I was once put into a situation where I was asked to show ownership of my property, but that was unrelated to this thread.0
