MissyM, I used to use disposable email a lot for "inviting friends" during the team challenge. Just put "disposable email" in a search engine and tons show up. They're usually only valid for a few minutes (some let you use them for longer than others). This time I used https://temp-mail.org/ just because it came top in the search.Sometimes sites insist that the email is one of gmail/hotmail/etc and for that I echo dunnm1 with Outlook (formerly Hotmail) as they still let you sign up without giving them another email address (although they will hound you for one in the weeks afterwards). For phone numbers, there are a few sites that do this. I searched "disposable UK phone numbers" and used https://temp-number.com/countries/United-Kingdom again just because it came top in the search.Only the 3rd of the 3 offers (the 125SB one) needed a phone number.Phone numbers are a lot harder than email addresses unfortunately. The disposable email sites buy a domain name no one else wants and can generate literally millions of email addresses for each domain.By contrast there seem to be limited numbers of phone numbers floating around and other people are using the same numbers simultaneously and there is a very real issue that you may enter a phone number and be told someone has already used that number at that site. It has happened to me in the past. In which case try another from that site or try another site. That's been my solution when I need a phone number. I'm sure others have come up with a better solution. And if they don't need a phone number (which is the case for 2 of the 3 offers) don't give them one.

I can usually get away with a null phone number - 07000 000000. So long as I don't need to receive an OTP to it, of course!)

I just put in a random mobile number for the elite deal offer and it was accepted, thanks for that 👍Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

Random mobile numbers aren't ideal - they may already be somebody else's number. One doesn't give random email addresses simply because that could cause a stranger to get loads of spam, and phone numbers should be treated the same way. Much better with official disposable ones!

Do you use a false name as well
I'm a bit green1 -
MissyM: I use a fake name. I think these offers only wanted a first name, so it doesn't make much difference. The main point would be not to use your real email and phone number because you don't want an ocean of spam emails and phone calls as a result of this.2

Yes, it's probably best not to use your real name of Justin Junk!Mind you, it does rather sound like your parents were preparing you for a life of spam emails2
