Probably insufficient working days to have the direct debit mandate set-up. Once weekend and bank holidays along with shorter working hours/reduced staffing levels are factored in.Emily_Joy said:This was on 12th of December. Sounds like a complaint has been lodged. After 8 weeks refer it to FOS.
Upto HSBC if their complaints handling is inadequate0
