Still on 14/20 Someone gave me a gift bag which contained a teeny tiny one glass bottle of fizz so I had that last night. It was nice. There was no more in the house and i had no desire for any more which means this cut down/back/out saga is finally working.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!7 -
15 for me today
I went out for dinner last night. I was asked what I was drinking. I was too tired to think about who might think what. So, I just said, I'm not drinking. Progress. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

19 for me today please cathybird, thank you v much. Today is exactly three months since I last had anything to drink. I was glad that small milestone arrived today, as I’ve been at a friend’s wedding all afternoon where they had a free bar; in times past, that would have been a real struggle for me but I made an early decision to do driving duties which obviously closed off any ideas of drinking, but also at the back of my mind I had the thought of posting on here. An alc’ - free lager followed by tonic water it was then.5
