  • Yeah I have already started buying a few bits and pieces. It's just that 02 bill thats really messed me up. I wouldn't mind paying it but I am unsure as to how and why it was connecting to the internet. I still have 7 hours left to run on ebay for the phone that I am selling and that won't sell for less than £100.
Also on a positive, I have an interview for the job I was talking about last week. I'll add more details on that later when I get back from work.
  • Well I said that there was no way that my wages would be £1700 this month. Boy was I wrong.. £1690.52 Yay!!! This is £5 short of my monthly bills, however my husband has said that I can take £500 from one of the functions to help towards debts this month so that'll help clear one down.
Next has the 2nd highest interest charge but the payment is 4 times what the capitalone card is so I will prob pay it off this.
In regards to the phone it has sold but it has gone to some dodge dutch person. I

The job I have an interview for sounds great. I spoke with someone about it today and I have an interview on Wednesday. There are 15 other people going for it both internal and external but I'm hoping that my knowledge will prevail. Any tips or hints will be gladly appreciated.

    Quick thought
which of the debts in your sig, are yours, your OH and joint?

Reason why I was asking was because whilst you may not be contractually able to go on a DMP (though I would check your conditions of employment in case it is only doing and IVA or going bankrupt that are no no's), what about your OH doing one for his debts?

Might still be worth having a chat with either CCCS or Payplan to see what the options are

  • Hi All,
Here's the brief for my presentation for the interview I have on Wednesday.
I have sat here for 2 hours now and although I have some good stuff the presentaion should only last for 10 minutes. It will then be followed by a 30 interview. I really want this job, especially cause the money would come in very handy so any advice for either the interview or the presentation brief would be most welcoming.
    Thanks:
  • You are a newly appointed Department Manager within an underperforming department/team. The department historically performed well against business objectives but in the last year the performance has deteriorated.
The following factor have been identified:

There has been a significant Change of personnel in the Team Managers. Many are new to the role having been successful in the internal promotion scheme.

Attrition is increased with a 30% colleque turnover. This is especially worrying as a significant number of new advisors are leaving with less than 6 months service.

Customer acquisition and customer retention is a main challenge and a key focus for the forthcoming year.

Your task is to highlight your approach to addressing these issues concentrating on your activities in the first 4 months of your appointment.
Your leadership style is crucial to your success and you should demonstrate how your style will deliver the changes needed.
