tjp70 well done ,now lock your purse away and eat what's in the cupboard (not all at once though
)
You are going to do it and once you set your mind to it , just keep thinking why you want to do it ,and how good you will feel in less than 7 weeks now ,
So it will be mid_February NEXT MONTH which is no time at all.
Never mind the weather (unless its icy underfoot) ,even a walk around the block will help
If its rainy just wrap up warm, stick a bobble hat on, scarf, coat and gloves, and a ten minute walk is better than no walk at all.
Recite in your head "I am determined to do this, and I WILL SUCEED", because we are all rooting for you
3rd January today, so the days will soon be whizzing by.
Today I bought a jumper in the sales for £7 for that two years ago would have been 4 sizes bigger, I lost weight because of health reasons and I have never felt better honestly, but the only person that can do it is you, plus all of us rooting for you and your holiday, Its giving us all a bit of a push to get motivated again.
The last mince pie went yesterday, and its 'normal' food once more today
I had porridge for breakfast, then soup for lunch and I have a jacket spud and salad for dinner tonight
As lovely as Christmas food is I'm glad its virtually gone and I'm back to eating healthier again. Daft as it seems I actually miss my normal food, and I'm certainly not sorry the fancy stuff is gone .
I have a small piece of speciality cheese left in the fridge that will go on my pasta bowl tomorrow than that too will be gone, and reduced fat cheese will be back on the menu, and smaller portions (I love cheese and I could happily eat any put in front of me) but I know I just have to cut back on it.
DD bought me a delicious french cheese with truffles in it for Christmas and it was delicious but once gone that it until next Christmas
So come on honey start reciting, and smaller plates equal smaller amounts You just KNOW you can do it

Just sat here waiting for any snow to fall. We are close to the South Coast so it’s unlikely to happen. Shame. I love the snow and have no need to drive anywhere.
The decluttering is going well. I donated a few things to the charity shop yesterday. I’ve listed one thing on ebay every day so far this month/year! I’ve had a couple of sales which has helped with the decluttering.
I’ve been out for a walk every day, sometimes in the pouring rain, but I’m always glad that I’ve done it when I get back.
A massive win for me was no top up shops between the weekly food shops. Last week I spent £42.40 on food. Yesterday’s food delivery was £49.20 so we are spending less each week than the £50.00 I had budgeted for.
I’ve not found the dieting as easy, but I am eating way more healthier and drinking more water. I weighed myself last Friday and had lost 2lbs so will have to weigh myself again this Friday to see if that has reduced any further. I would be disappointed if it hasn’t. I definitely feel a bit better in myself which is great.
Jackie, thanks again for the motivation. Your weight loss over the last 2 years has been amazing. We have a lot of Christmas treats that we were given but I have not touched them and don’t feel tempted to. I hope you enjoyed the last of the cheese on your pasta.
Decluttering 20/50
Jan food £91.60/£100.00
Weight lost 2lbs

Morning.I don’t want to share too much personal stuff but life has taken a different turn. There’s nothing like a family emergency to put things into perspective.I’m away from home helping another family member, unable to focus on anything this diary is intended for but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter right now.I’ll be back soon.If Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters2
