A car dealer Selling from his home would def raise my eyebrows a bit

I suspect he’s trying to consider it as a private sale rather than a business sale

What age, cost, mileage vehicle is it ?

And any “warranty” is doubtful too…

I wouldn't buy a car from a 'business' operating from home. Just don't risk it. They could be great, but most likely not. Go to an established car dealership that you can check the history of to some degree and have some protection, or buy privately and buyer beware.

Thanks  ive read the car takes 11.5 seconds to get from 0 to 65 mph so I think that might be slow for motorway or general over taking ..

    That is pretty fast!
My Suzuki is way slower than that, and I am perfectly happy driving it around, although I avoid motorways as I can actually see the fuel gauge go down at 70.

It isn't like there are any roads within 50 miles where I could go fast enough to overtake anything except cyclists travelling at less than 10mph....
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))
  • If you don't know much about cars, then yes it is worth paying for an independent check and clear any outcome with the seller. Watch some videos on basic car checks and make sure you test drive the car.

Is it full main dealer service history? Or independent?

Suzuki is generally a very reliable brand but research the model and check there are no outstanding recalls. Six months MOT is an industry standard but check what was advised on the last MOT/history failures.

Also lots of people now operate from home it's not unusual.

    Good luck!
