Has your Daughter explained all this to her employer? Maybe they would be more sympathetic once they find out she's the only one who can collect the bag and the amount of time it's going to take to collect.Sealed Pot Challenge 15 #78

hi thanks for all replies. We travelled to Heathrow this morning and were able to retrieve our bag after explaining the situation and how the bag came to have two tags with same surname but differing forenames. We produced all bag receipts together with 7 of the 8 labels on the other cases. We also produced booking receipts showing 4 person family group. The family member whose bag it was -was throughly questioned and searched, filled in a form with loads of information required and was eventually allowed to leave with bag.So a happy if expensive ending. However when we reached home we had a shock parking fine of £80 waiting for us as the person driving our car to collect us from the flight had waited too long in pick up zone because of the delays in getting our 2 disabled passengers off of the flight! He was the only car there as can be seen by photos but if that the rule just another cost to add to an already costly experience. We did pay the short term cost of £17 for that day but did not know about where he had first waited. An experience we will not be repeating!
whilst we do not expect preferential treatment just because we are disabled a little recognition of how disability affects timing for instance would I am sure be appreciated by many people similarly affected by unattainable time constraints.Once again thank you for all your responses.0 -
