Universal Credit calculations - getting very confused
Obviously, this is all just calculations - not the actual award. I'm just trying to anticipate any problems (not that I can do anything about it apart from prepare for it mentally!)
However, when I do as the pink box tells me (do a new calculation as if I'm on UC) then it puts the carer element in and makes my payment and payment calculator £1214 - which I'm hoping is right?

Yes, with carers element included it will be £1,214.94/month. Although if earnings increase your UC decreases, if they decrease it increases. No idea what the £600 calculation was for sorry.
Okay, thank you Poppy. I'm hoping the £12 14 calculation is right then! Phew, it's all very confusing. I would say if it's not broken don't fix it but it will give me a little bit more than on CTC/WTC which would be good (if its right!), although only till June when my son leaves college and it all changes again!
