On 24th December we got a demand from Edf for a bill we had already paid 13months ago when we terminated our agreement with them and swapped to Octopus.
i was wondered how many others get theses letters informing us that bailiffs are being sent and scare tactics being used.

We have received another letter on the 28th saying we had not responded ignoring the fact they were shut over Xmas and too busy to answer the phones in between then and now.
we will be ringing them again tomorrow.

If your Royal Mail delivery service is anything like mine, the first letter could have been posted in November !1

Do you still have a copy of the bill and a corresponding entry in your bank statement to prove that it was paid.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0

I don't believe they can bill you for services more than 12 months old. If they had previously sent you a bill and you paid then that should be it!
