Banks that allow multiple references for same payee

Hi, I’m looking for a current account that allows multiple references per same payee please (I.e. you can add multiple payees, all with the same name sort code and account number, but different references). NatWest doesn’t accommodate this for example. Thank you!

I do this with Lloyds. I have multiple payees set up to the same account number + sort code for a few building society accounts, but they all have different payment references. They don't support nicknames, but there's nothing stopping you just putting the account name as whatever you want, and then overriding the COP check.
