I'm waiting on £10k+ from GateHouse, that should have arrived on Friday and as of yet, has not.I'm taking screen shots of GateHouse and my receiving bank. Any suggestions on the best way to prepare for a compensation claim, in this case? This would be for loss of interest and for the inability to provide a service within an expected time frame, maybe more?
I've already informed Gatehouse that I will be making a claim for compensation after my transfer is completed.
Apologies for taking the thread off-topic especially as it's less of an issue now as payments from Gatehouse Bank seemed to have started being credited.
However, I am in a similar position to the above and thus interested in how Gatehouse respond to these complaints.
They are not Barclays and it appears that the payments will be made by the end of the next working day as allowed under the Payment Services Directive.

I would suggest preparing a very detailed claim explaining the loss you incurred due to the delay. Leave it sit on your desk for a week and if a week later you feel it is justified, and not a little petty, then sent it off.

Me too. Wondering if I should change my bank statement to postal statements (due one next week) or whether they are likely to accept the PDF downloaded from the app.

Easy way to get a foot in the door for me, as no previous dealings with them. Wouldn’t post off for this rate, but happy to email them.
Their ID reqs look a bit ambiguous - they say they'll use electronic verification but also ask you to email the form and ID. Not sure I'd be sending copies of my documents by normal email tbh,

How much do you want the account? My suggestion, if your ID and address is "simple" such as no name change and more than 3 years at your current address, would be to scan the form and send it, and see if they requested ID docs later. Waiting until you get postal bank statements may mean it is withdrawn.

If you're concerned about email security then zip the files up, password protect it and ask them to make contact with you to get the password.

    I've just sent them as-is.

Can’t see anything there about it being certified, I also wouldn’t bother if it had to be. The rate isn’t at the top of the market, so there’s no premium to cancel out the cost.

If a PDF Statement is taken to be a document printed from the internet, then one of these would require a passport or a photocard driving licence to be used - and a test pass as the asterix doesn’t say provisional while those were otherwise acceptable as ID.

Check the inside back page of your passbook. I think the bank account (sort code and number) to send payments are printed there,

Before opening Loughborough BS new account, be aware that they have no online access at all, even just to check balance (unless it's changed recently). When I had an account with them, I had to phone regularly to check monthly payments were received and credited.

Can withdrawals/closure/ be done by phone also?
