My invites to give maturity instructions come by snail mail, by post. Not sure I remember ever having had messages by text or email but maybe I've forgotten - maybe there are account options I haven't set up, which I will look into doing as post is a bit hit n miss or slow reaching me. Worse this time of year of course, pre-xmas, and its recovery period goes beyond the 6th January, in my part of the country at least.s71hj said:No Principality message for me or my wife yet. My maturity is the 6th though, which is a weekend day so I don't quite know if / how that may make a difference.
Anyway, I wanted to say there's no need to wait for post or messages, as I discovered the online maturity option you click next to your account when logged in always opens a fortnight before maturity, weekends bank hols and Sundays included! So it's automated, to open 14 days before maturity and you can pop in and set the instructions. You just need a diary alert in your own system, phone/computer whatever you use, to prompt yourself.0 -
jameseonline said:Not sure if I like this getting rumbled talk, Principality maturity options allowed us to have extra accounts etc, it's been allowed for some time now, they could have closed loophole or whatever at any time. People haven't really broken any rules because Principality didn't enforce their own rules, now it appears they are.
Also if anyone has any other accounts coming to an end It might be worth trying giving instructions outside of opening hours, which is what I'm going to do & what I was doing up until the other day.Principality have actioned my maturity instruction this morning for another 6 month RS; making a total holding of 4, without a problem. From memory, this maturity option was actioned late at night and obviously out of office hours.I have another 2 Principality accounts maturing soon and I hope to convert these into another 2 Christmas RS; should they still be available, making a total holding of 4, and again, I will be actioning maturity instructions late at night simply because it's the only time I have some peace & quiet
Whilst I'm aware that some have experienced issues both now and in the past with not having maturity instructions actioned, I'm really at a loss to why? Principality's system allows the various maturity options from a drop down menu and it's not as though we have to input the maturing account type we want?!
Whilst I was also beginning to wonder whether Principality have X amount of accounts available for each account offering, that certainly doesn't make sense when some are told, "Sorry, you already have this account so can't have another", whilst the majority have their maturity instructions actioned

Lloyds Online showing all LBG accounts now.I logged in a couple of hours ago and noticed that all my Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) (Lloyds, Bank of Scotland and Halifax) accounts were shown, including all the RS I have with LBG. This is the first time I've seen this in the Lloyds portal.5

I haven't signed online yet but will go and have a look. The megre LGB account feature has been available in the LBG Apps for some time, but the added new feature is that you can now transfer funds between the LGB accounts regardless which of the groups Apps you're using, and I've been playing with this handy feature this morningBorn2Save_3 said:Lloyds Online showing all LBG accounts now.I logged in a couple of hours ago and noticed that all my Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) (Lloyds, Bank of Scotland and Halifax) accounts were shown, including all the RS I have with LBG. I'm not liking it, due to having lot's of accounts with all 3 banks the list is endless. Some one said you can hide accounts in the app? if so, can you also do this online.Born2Save_3 said:Lloyds Online showing all LBG accounts now.I logged in a couple of hours ago and noticed that all my Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) (Lloyds, Bank of Scotland and Halifax) accounts were shown, including all the RS I have with LBG. Like you, I don’t like it, and I have immediately hidden accounts that don’t belong to the respective app. I do like the easier internal transfers - makes my cycling of minimum monthly deposits a few seconds faster. In theory, it might also managing my BOS / Halifax / Lloyds RSs easier / faster but I only really look at them when opening and closing them, so can’t see the added value from seeing them all in all apps.trickydicky14 said:

I don’t know whether you can hide in online banking as I very rarely use it.
I hope this change isn’t the beginning of the end of the different brands, as this would almost inevitably mean a reduction of numbers of RSs.

On my app (Android) there's a "customise" button on the top right, which you can use to reorder the accounts (using the arrow keys) or hide an account (using the eye symbol). Unsure about online banking through the website.1 -
Shunting 2k in and out of Lloyds each month to avoid charges will be quicker.friolento said:

One less login for the merry-go-round. Although slightly longer to play hunt-the-account in a very long list.trickydicky14 said:
