Blimey you're prompt. That went up literally as the 09:00 pips were finishing.....

Just failed ID Check (even though I'm an existing member), probably due to well shonky selfie on my laptop.

I'll try later with some better kit.

Their link is outdated, you need to change the 3 to a 4 at the end of the URL

Confirmed I can't open the 7% one because I have the crappy 5.5% one which I can't close until the term is up 😢

    Vernon BS RS:
Opened this account last year - on 02/10/2024 - and was expecting it to mature on 02/10/2025 but was pleasantly surprised that it won't actually mature until 31/10/2025 as the T&Cs state "Interest is calculated daily and added to your account annually at the end of the month the account was opened.
Yes, mine ended on Sept 30th. In case you didn't know, the balance, excluding £1, transfers over to the Easy Access account that the opened at the same time, and the monthly payments can continue as it's open ended Remember to withdraw from the Easy Access account as it only pays 2%. The EA account doesn't need to be held above £100.
Vernon BS - so I guess it's kinda similar to the Halifax RS in that respect. It would be more beneficial though to close it and immediately re-open again to get that extra month of fully funded interest, wouldn't it?
