When I called on Friday to request a paper form, I was told that they are hoping to make the regular saver available to open online in a few weeks. I'm not planning to wait until but some people might prefer to.
It's also possible, if/when they do an online version, that they will allow both to be opened., Chaykin said:
Vernon BS RS:Opened this account last year - on 02/10/2024 - and was expecting it to mature on 02/10/2025 but was pleasantly surprised that it won't actually mature until 31/10/2025 as the T&Cs state "Interest is calculated daily and added to your account annually at the end of the month the account was opened." I guess this makes it an outlier compared to other RSs as it's beneficial to open this account at the beginning of the month rather than towards the end.Principality BS Christmas 2025 Regular Saver:I fund my RSs manually - went a bit trigger happy and sent a 13th payment to this account last Wednesday (01/10/2025) and even though T&Cs state "If your bond reaches £1,500, you cannot pay any more money in." it was credited no problem and now my balance is £1,625.00. As I haven't tried this before it made me think about other peoples' experiences with Principality accepting 7th/13th payments into their RSs?
I've done it once with 6m issue 1. It was unintentional, I simply forgot that there is maximum balance on this account. The deposit was credited and the interest was paid as expected, but I didn't try this again.

Slinky said:Slightly off topic, we tried opening a NatWest ISA for OH yesterday, which although it has issued an account number, hasn't appeared on his account list. Annoyingly I transferred £5K to our joint account yesterday in anticipation of moving it into the ISA. He has a Regular Saver with them which I previously emptied as he's nearing his £500 PSA, so I've just moved the £5K into the RS to see what would happen, and it's accepted the transfer. Will they bounce this back to the joint account I wonder or leave it?It depends when you emptied the NWest RS? I know that you can withdraw funds and replace them within the same month, but not sure about withdrawing and replacing in different months? The Natwest RS may appear to have accept the 5k transfer back and I hope it does; please let us folks on MSE know if it does, but if not; it will eventually after a few days, bounce back into the joint account. From experience of an accidental over payment of £150 into my NW RS, it took 6 days for the overpayment to be returned to my NWest current account.~ NSD 2025 - NSD October 9/20 (9 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 29 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Pack.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £824.80 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £18,551.17 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing1

No sign of Issue 4 of the Progressive RS at 7%. I managed to open a fixed bond with them yesterday just in case it was members only. ATM it's just showing issue 3 at 5.5%.0
