Has everyone who applied via email received a response from them?
    Scottish Reg Saver

An opening Cheque Deposit needs to be posted to Head Office /Dalry Road within 14 days then a welcome pack will be sent out.
I’ll post off a cheque not sure if to risk the previously mentioned Freepost address or use a stamp !

Did they provide you with a reference or account number to include when you post them your cheque to them?

No, they can't do this because the account won't be opened until they cash the cheque.

Virgin Money back with its 6.5% fixed £250 monthly till 30/10/2026
Is the maths good on closing an issue 3 and opening an issue 4 to extend the fixed-term rate?

I appear to now have  a Monmouth Branch Exclusive RS. I cheekily sent the form after it closed the other week. There is an account in the app but does not show an interest rate. My other accounts show the interest rate in the app. I've had no confirmation it is set up. I've just sent a £10 payment to see if it funds OK. I can't now find the terms of the account as it is withdrawn. Is this 7% or 6%, max £1000 a month or £500 ? I cannot  remember! Anyone?

That info wasn’t given to me in the email I received.
Luckily I haven’t yet posted the cheque off. So I can add my address to the reverse of the cheque. Thanks

Didn’t put address on the back of cheque - they’ll have to do that themselves.  Should have made initial instructions clearer!

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

    Scottish BS RS

Yes; had to send my driving licence via email, only to be told afterwards that all was well and my account would be further processed WHEN they receive my opening deposit ... by mail. Groan. (Now off to find the chequebook in the dusty drawers of old...)
I too had to hunt out the unused cheque book of olden days !
Last time I wrote out a cheque the stub was dated 2019
    Cheque Scottish BS

Thought I might apply as nothing came from Savings Week - don't use cheques anymore so had to hunt for the cheque book - found - it has a Griffin on the front and is from Midland Bank - still got same account - wonder if HSBC would process the payment - however just switched my Santander CA to Nationwide and asked for a cheque book.
