RBS/Netwest Digital Regular Saver
Has anyone reached the 5K ceiling and had their standing order removed without issues? I’m slightly hesitant to cancel mine because their terms state standing order of £1-150 is a must?0 -
No problem cancelling the SO.DealSeeker11 said:RBS/Netwest Digital Regular Saver

SO not even necessary4 -
I'm not sure if I ever actually had SOs set up on my DRS's, but they work just fine without them.DealSeeker11 said:RBS/Netwest Digital Regular Saver

I've just tried logging in to Progressive to check my SO has arrived today, and after putting in my password it's come up with a Salesforce page asking me to change my password. Never had this before, I've abandoned the login. Is this genuine?Make £2025 in 2025

I don't know why Natwest's blurb says "£1-150" when actually there's no minimum amount per month and you don't need to pay in by standing order. I think they force you to set up a standing order when you I apply, so I guess the minimum there is £1, but after that you can do what you like, cancel the standing order and do a manual transfer each month, or skip months altogether.DealSeeker11 said:RBS/Netwest Digital Regular Saver

NatWest and RBS don't have a minimum amount to fund every month, I've never had standing orders setup for either, just manually paid in from NatWest and RBS current accounts.
Think the only standing orders setup I've had before are HSBC, First Direct & TSB, TSB being 1 you can get rid of but the other 2 you have to keep unless closing but then you also don't earn the interest rate etc2 -

Well that's odd. Having abandoned the login attempt without changing the password, when I went back to try and login again, the account page was already open without me changing the password. Feels a tad dodgy.Make £2025 in 2025

They are using Salesforce to power the online banking site. It is probably just that the password change is poorly enforced. You may get nagged again during your next login session.Slinky said:Well that's odd.
